Celebrating a decade since the buzziest restaurant and bar in Chelsea first opened its doors
We've partnered up with internationally acclaimed jeweller, Alex Monroe to celebrate both our 10th Birthdays - a decade since the buzziest restaurant and bar in Chelsea first opened its doors and 10 years since Alex Monroe created his iconic bumblebee necklace.
It’s been 10 years since we first opened our doors on Sloane Square, and what a decade it has been!
An evening with Alex Monroe
Wednesday 24th October
To mark this special occasion, we are collaborating with leading British jewellery designer, Alex Monroe, who created his iconic bumblebee necklace in the same year. Meet Alex at our exclusive three-course dinner on Wednesday 24th October. Tickets are £85pp including a welcome ‘Honey Bee’ cocktail. Ticket holders will also receive a £25 voucher to spend at Alex Monroe.
To celebrate our joint birthdays, Alex has designed and created the most intricate ring ever made with an estimated retail price of £1,995. The 'Botanist Bee' features miniature 18ct yellow gold bees and Madagascan blue sapphires nestled within entwined gold flowers and leaves and will be available to one lucky bidder via an online auction, with all proceeds going to The Bee Cause, a campaign launched by Friends of the Earth charity.MAKE A BID
Friends of the Earth is an international community that brings together more than two million people in 75 countries dedicated to the protection of the natural world and the wellbeing of everyone in it.
The Bee Cause is Friends of the Earth’s campaign to protect bees. Bees have lost 97% of their natural habitat over the last 60 years. 13 species of bees have disappeared from the UK since 1900, with 35 officially under threat of extinction.
The 'Honey Bee' Cocktail
We've created an exclusive cocktail for our 10th Birthday. Join us for our celebrations as we serve our refreshing 'Honey Bee' cocktail, a delicious blend of Kettle One Vodka, cranberry lemon, honey, peach bitters and topped with ginger ale. Available throughout October.
supporting The Botanist’s celebrations is leading florist Phillipa Craddock, bringing the restaurant and bar into full bloom for its birthday. Inspired by bees and their natural habitat, the flower installation across the venue’s entire façade features seasonal faux eucalyptus and vibrant blooms in burgundies, blues, yellows, oranges and lush greens.
